Intern Story: LP Mdluli

Internship experience

I started the internship program in September 2016, I did not have any previous work experience in Construction, but just the theory I learned at University, however with the help and experience my mentor Mr Shadreck Karema has, I can now say that I have acquired a lot of knowledge and practice from him.

I have learnt a lot in the Estimating department, making me familiar with the industry and the industry terms, which in turn helps me to choose the correct stream of Quantity Surveying I would like to take. 5 years from now I see myself as a Senior Quantity Surveyor by acquiring my professional status from ASAQS board.

I am very grateful for the opportunity and the bursary I was provided with by joining Temi Construction.
