The event was a success and we managed to change people’s lives within the community of Lawley. The MEC Paul Mashatile couldn’t be at the event but was represented by the DDG Sam Khoza and his Chief whip of Staff Meloney Van Eck. Mr Eddie Majozi and myself Freedom Hadebe with the extraordinary Temi staff represented the company. We had the local community leadership and community stakeholders and the most important of all were the beneficiaries who received their fully furnished houses and groceries.
It was truly a remarkable day and Temi Construction’s Transformation hand was truly at work. Nothing of this nature has ever been done in Lawley and the manner in which Temi empowers the community, from enterprise development, job creation and skills development programmes that have been implemented to ensure the economic benefit flows back into the community.
